I was back at my desk but I couldn't stop thinking about what Merlin said. Why did he describe Brian like he was a monster?

He was also saying his words with so much confidence like it was true. The things that he said about Brian being nice and then crushing people bothered me more than anything that he had said.

It made me remember how Brian was acting so loving towards Selena. He was treating her like a queen, and suddenly when the contract ended, he acted like she didn't exist in his life.

The way he discarded her was so fast and heartless. I didn't care...
