Why was I being stupid again, and allowing him to suck on my lips like that? Why was I letting this happen?

What would his sudden care change? What would the realization that he had nothing to do with that message even alter?

It wouldn't change the fact that he had always been a jerk. Wasn't I putting myself up for more hurt? What if my parents contracted another girlfriend for him? Wouldn't he act cold toward me again?
