Why did he give me such an offer?

He knew exactly how everyone in this office views us, wouldn't going on a trip together spark more controversies?

Was it me or was he enjoying this?

He hadn't done anything to debunk the rumors. Well, I guessed that it would only make people talk more if he said anything.

I shouldn't judge him too soon or fast. He might genuinely want me to come on the trip because he viewed it as an opportunity for me to improve my potential.

I would have loved to go as well, however, I didn't want any more drama.
