Chapter 9

Avril saw the seductive woman in the tight black outfit step into the bedroom, her high heels clicking on the floor.

She asked the three men, "Any discoveries?"

The three men stood respectively at the head of the bed, beside the curtains, and at the foot of the bed. "Miss, there's nothing unusual. The bed is empty, and we checked under the mattress. It only contains some sheets and blankets." They shook their heads at her.

The woman glanced around and stared at the bed for a moment, seeming uneasy. She then instructed someone to flip the mattress over.
