We spent most of the day with the fighters, it seemed as though they hadn't been trained in a few years, or had the correct training for that matter. The Alpha was actually doing what he said he was going to, I think he just needed a push in the right direction because I can tell, he does have it in him.

He was now taking me to the two buildings he's letting the team and me stay in, I was asking him questions about the pack that wasn't in the file he sent over.

"So what's the status on finding your mate?" I ask looking over at him, his eyes soon dart to me where he holds my gaze for a second. "Have you found her yet?" I ask not knowing if he was confused on how I phased the question.

"Well....oh these are the buildings your team and you will be stationed at" he smiles pointing to two giant buildings, I turn to look my mouth just hanging open. "Are you surprised?" He asks now asking the questions.

"These have to be the biggest buildings we've ever been given to use, normally we get tiny buildings" I say still in awe at them, is it weird I'm in awe at a building?

"Well you and your team have came here to help us, you should be given only best accommodation" he smiles as we come to a stop outside the doors, he has to be one of the nicest Alpha's I've worked with.

"Thank you so much Alpha Myles, my team and I really appreciate how welcoming you're being" I smile but he just shakes his head smiling.

"Myles, call me Myles" he smiles crossing his arms, whoa he's the first Alpha that's wanted me to address them just by their name, others like to affirm power over us as they feel we’re taking it from them due to us changing things in their pack.

Before I could speak any further a huge crash came from inside the building, let's hope they're not breaking the biggest building we've been given, right in front of the person who has given to us!

"I better run, but thank you again Myles for welcoming my team and me with such open arms" I say walking backwards the steps. "I'd get some rest if I were you, we have a busy day tomorrow" I smile starting to climb the steps, he looks to the floor smiling with a wave before walking away.

As I open the door to the house I see a knife fly across the room and enter the wall, okay that was way to close for comfort. I walk over pulling the knife out the wall, as shouts erupt from the room. I leave these guys for 5 minutes! I walk in the room where Chase and Aston were have a brawl on the floor, the rest of the guys were stood just staring at them.

"To attention!" I shout crossing my arms, in seconds all the guys where stood up straight with their hands by their sides. "We've just been given the nicest buildings and you guys are throwing knifes at the walls, when I'm away with work I expect you to also be getting on with work, not having a mini wrestling match on the floor!" I shout mainly looking at Chase and Aston, Chase was looking at me in the eyes while Aston was looking everywhere else but me.

"Permission to speak boss?" Chase asks holding his head up high, I nod my head looking at him. "I was trying to get on with my work, but Aston here claims his work is more important and puts that trap exactly where I was working" Chase starts to explain while Aston just scoffs, I send him a look which quickly makes his eyes go wide and he once again stands up straight, him also asking for permission to speak.

"If you must" I say now turning my attention to Aston who proceeds to point at Chase, who I could tell wanted to break his finger.

"I was taking a look at the trap that we just found, I thought that would have taken priority" he informs me, I just roll my eyes at their childlike behaviour.

"I decide what takes priority and right now, you children have taken time out of our work, which is the priority" I say letting the other guys stand down, who just lean against the walls watching this unfold. "Now you're gonna give me five hundred push-ups" I tell them beginning to walk away, but Aston speaks up complaining. "Continue to complain I'll double it for both of you, you're a team which means you go through it together" I smile looking at them, Chase just sighs getting down to the floor to start is press-ups, I raise an eyebrow to Aston who eventually starts to do the press-up.

"I love it when you get all boss lady" Rich smirks as I walk over, I give him a look which makes him nod. "I'll shut up now" he says looking straight which actually causes me to laugh.

"Now while those two idiots are team bonding, I need you guys to explain what you have discovered while being here” I say looking at all of their notes, I like how I don’t have to remind them to take notes anymore.

When we enter a pack for the first time, everyone takes mental notes of the areas they see which they think should be addressed. After they get sent here, they write all their notes down so we can go over it and start formulating a plan.

“I’ll go first” Joey says picking up his notepad, when he’s in the field he doesn’t actually talk much, but he is very observant and can execute any of my orders. “I think it’s clear to everyone that this packs security is the biggest problem, but I know that’s Rich’s area of expertise so I’ll leave that to him” he says looking up at Rich, who nods his head agreeing but waits to see what Joey will say.

“I was taking a look around the pack and it’s clear that there is some kind of disconnect in the pack. Not only as the Alpha doesn’t take an active role in the pack, but also as when we pulled up we didn’t see a single pack member” he explained which I had to agree with, that was one thing that stood out to me when we arrived here.

“I have saw that too, I’ll speak to the Alpha to see if he’ll allow us to talk with the pack members. I know he probably will, but we don’t want to step on anybody’s toes” I say where Joey nods taking his notebook and walking over to the side, where my attention turns to Alfie who opens his notebook. “What do you need to tell me Alfie?” I ask with a smile, he looks up shocked a little that I knew he was going to speak, I can read these guys like a book.

“As you know, it’s my job to look into the history of the pack in hopes that would uncover some things” he explains moving passed Rich to stand beside me, where he opens up his notebook to show me. “I was able to find some information regarding the Beta’s and Gammas, but there is nothing on this current Alpha or the Alpha before him which would be his father” he tells me which was strange, packs normally leave a meticulous history of them and the others before them, it’s something they always feel proud and will be one of the first things we’re shown.

“That might explain the gaps in the file that was sent to us, we definitely need to find out whatever this pack could be hiding” I say where he runs off telling me he’ll call some of his friends, they owe him a favour so I’ll call it in now.

“It’s on to me sweet cheeks” Rich smiles walking towards me, I roll my eyes but can’t help the smile that filled my lips. “One of the first problems we need to deal with is the security, there is no way we’ll be able to fix any other of the problems until that is ironed out. Starting tomorrow, we need to go over to what fighters they have and train them to guard under nightfall. While also, looking at how to recruit more fighters” he tells me which I couldn’t have agreed more, that sounds as though it will take us a full day to achieve.

“That is definitely high on our priority list, we can start the ball rolling tomorrow with the fighters and have the Alpha give us a list of possible pack members to train” I say agreeing with Rich, he sends me a wink before walking to the side to write some more notes.

My eyes then move to the two guys doing the last of their push-ups, I could tell their arms were probably hurting but they were trying to hide it so the other wouldn’t see. After a few seconds, Chase rises to his feet looking over at me.

“Now you have finished your punishment, it’s time for you to do your job and tell me what’s happening” I say crossing my arms with a raise eyebrow, Chase nods his head running over to grab his notebook. He focuses on training, so he’ll play a big role in the activities tomorrow.

“I think we should start with the fighters they already have, they don’t have a lot of training but at least we won’t be starting from scratch” he tells me writing down in his notebook to remember, when they aren’t fighting with each other the team can get so much done. “While we’re training them, the Alpha can draft up a list of possible people, after we’re finished we’ll call those people and start basic training” he explains which was the perfect way around this, I smile patting him on the shoulder.

“Now this is the kind of Chase I like to see” I smile which does make a huge smile fill his lips, he thanks me before he runs off to start drafting up plans.

A very out of breath Aston finally finishes his push-ups, he lay on his back trying to catch his breath as I walk over. I stand above his head while he lay there with his eyes closed, as soon as his eyes opened he looked up at me shocked.

“Have you learnt anything from that experience?”I ask tilting my head to the side a little as I spoke, he nods his head a little but doesn’t speak.

“Yeah, he’s learnt not to mess with such a badass hottie” Rich says from behind me, I turn to look at him smirking but do raise my eyebrow.

“Yeah I’ve learnt not to push your buttons and just follow orders, but before all of that broke out I did manage to find a few things” Aston says jumping right up and walking over to the trap, I walk passed Rich who sent me a wink.

“As I said back then, this trap is magnificently made” he tells me pulling a top part off to reveal wires of different colours. “It’s clear to me whoever made this, knew exactly what they were doing. They must be a long time hunter to have crafted such a trap, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ensured this trap wouldn’t go off so we could take a look” he says which does confuse me, who would they want to see this?

“But no one in this pack would pull this trap apart to see how great it was, wouldn’t they want to make sure it worked so they knew they meant business?” I ask looking at Aston who shakes his head, that is the only logical thing that was making sense to me in this moment.

“That’s what was bothering me when I thought about it, so I sat down and just let the thoughts swirl around and there only one thing made sense” he tells me but pauses, I shake my head telling him to tell me. “There has to be a spy in the pack”
