"It's funny to hear lies when you already know the truth. I read it somewhere, and now I'm witnessing it," Calvin said with a smile. "By the way, if you're sure that YOUR ASH was with you, then I think I should show everyone the video of last night when I was with Ashley, to see who is speaking the truth at this moment," he added, revealing his phone.

Everyone was taken aback by his statement, especially Ashley and Ethlyn.

Ethlyn quickly approached her best friend, demanding, "What the hell is he talking about, Ash? Give me one hint, and I swear I'll break all his bones today." She hissed in anger. Ashley didn't reply to her, instead, she started crying. Ethlyn hugged her and glared at Calvin, who didn't play the video in front of everyone but yes, in front of Christoper for sure.

Though, everyone nearby could still hear the loud, intimate, and pleading sounds of Ashley in the video, begging Calvin to fuck her.

"Why did you do this, Ash?" Ethlyn hissed angrily. "Why? Especially just hours before the wedding?"

"I'm sorry. It was a mistake. I was drunk, and... I'm sorry. I didn't want any of this to happen." Ashley cried.

'Sure! This werewolf has something to do with it,' Ethlyn thought, glaring at Calvin. 'Even if something happened between them last night, what was his motive for filming everything? He could have talked about it with Ashley privately instead of causing a scene?'

“Christ, my friend, how many times have I told you that this girl doesn’t love you and is marrying you just because of money? Hell, one of her boyfriends killed himself because of her, because she left him to marry you, but you were not ready to listen to me.” Calvin said to his friend.

"Ashley, baby! I'm sorry. I wanted to show him what kind of woman you are. You threw yourself at me, realizing that I'm richer than your future husband. But what did I do? I used you and discarded you. Oh, I feel so bad for you," Calvin said, feigning care and concern for Ashley. Suddenly, someone slapped him hard, and at the same moment, someone's phone started ringing.

"Don't you have a mother and sister at home?" Calvin's smile faded momentarily, but it quickly returned as he gazed at the furious beauty in front of him.

"I do have both a mother and sister at home, but neither of them is without character, you see!" he replied, rubbing his cheek. "And I have no respect for a woman solely because she is a woman. I would surely have respected Ashley if she were a prostitute, sleeping with wealthy men for money. That would at least be an honest profession," he added with a smirk.

"Youuuu!" Ethlyn was about to slap him again when Calvin grabbed her wrist firmly.

"Just because you got one chance to slap me, have you assumed my cheek is now your private property?" Calvin asked, while Ethlyn struggled to free her wrist using her wolf's strength. She sensed that the werewolf was an Alpha, as he was using his power to hold onto her wrist.

"Release my wrist," she hissed.

"Why? I thought you were enjoying touching me. I don't mind sleeping with you. Trust me, I'm quite skilled in bed," Calvin shamelessly propositioned, mistaking her for having the same intentions as her friend Ashley.

"I would rather burn in the fires of hell than sleep with you," Ethlyn hissed, making Calvin chuckle.

"Really? Are you absolutely sure you want to decline my offer?" Calvin asked again.

"Let go of my hand, you moron. I already have a mate," Ethlyn retorted. Calvin released her wrist upon hearing that.

"I hope you won't cheat on him like your best friend," Calvin quipped, glancing at Christopher, who had called off the wedding and was now prepared to leave, leaving Ashley behind.

"Let's go, buddy! It's better to cry now than to spend your entire life with the wrong woman," he said, placing a hand on Christopher's shoulder and guiding him away.

"You didn't sleep, did you?" Calvin emerged from his reverie, hearing Zordan's voice. "What were you thinking about, by the way?" he asked.

"That I don't want a woman of questionable character as my daughter's mother! And I won't ever tell Rose about it," Calvin declared resolutely. "A woman who can betray her mate is not someone I want to have any connection with, let alone as my pup's mother. To be honest, I'm relieved that she left my pup outside my pack."

Zordan simply gazed at him, puzzled. "The chapter of searching for Rose's mother is closed in my life from now on," Calvin stated, walking into the washroom, while Zordan continued to stare at him.

'You may have closed that chapter in your life, but what about the other side? What if Ethlyn Smith starts searching for her pup now?' Zordan wondered.
