And Victoria narrated everything to him leaving no details out including the threat from Eric's lover.

"Woah! Vi that's a lot, and you just agreed to this?"

"I don't really have a choice, do I?"

"With the money and the man involve no you don't, cause I know even if you refuse he would do anything to make you do it"

"But look on the bright side Vi you would become a Knight! A f**cking freaking Knight! Vi that's power"

Tony said dramatically, which made Victoria roll her eyes at him which was becoming a habit these days.

"What's so amazing about that?, besides it's just for a while, two years"

"Two years of amazingness if there is a word like that...so have you told Alexa?"

"No and sure she's mad as well, ahhh I am a horrible friend, friends don't do this"

"Finally you realised that, so its lunch time let's go have lunch and from there you tell Alexa okay?

"Sure"

When they both left Tony's office for the cafe, Tony called Alexa on phone and told her to meet him at the coffee shop which she said she was already there.

When they got to the coffee shop Alexa was sitting at their favorite table using her phone, with the way her brows were frowned the two could tell she wasn't in a good mood.

"Hey al what's up?, and what's wrong you look upset" Tony said taking his usual seat, and Victoria did the same.

"Nothing really just work" Alexa said waving the topic aside.

"So? Vi you getting married and you didn't bother to tell me?" Alexa said in annoyance.

"No it’s not just like that..."

"Then it how? please do explain"

"It’s complicated OK it caught me unaware and I didn't have a choice in it either, please don't be mad at me OK I would explain everything to you OK"

And she told Alexa the same thing she told Tony, causing Alexa to frown sometimes and sometimes laugh.

"Okay understandable, but I am not letting you go just like that you are paying for lunch throughout the whole week"

"Mrs Knight?" A man in black suite and dark shade glasses said behind Victoria startling the three of them.

"Ermm yes?" Victoria answered not sure of what to say.

"Ma'am your mother in law is waiting for you at your husband's office she said I should come get you, you both are supposed to go get your wedding dress this afternoon"

"Mother in law? Husband?" Victoria said confused, which made everyone on the table including the man in black suite to roll their eyes at her.

"Duh! Of course your mother-in-law and husband, Victoria to earth please" Tony said and snapped his fingers in her face.

"Oh God I forgot, sure let's go" Victoria said picking up her phone from the table and apologizing to her friends before she left with the man.

She got into the car when the man insisted that she should use the car instead of walking even though the office was a walking distance.

When the elevator signaled that they had reach their destination Victoria let out a breath and stepped out with the man following behind like a body guard.

When she got into the office Eric was sitting on his chair frowning while Eric's mother was smiling like she won a million dollars.

"Good afternoon ma'am, sir"

"Oh please dear call me mother or my name Susan, ok? you are my daughter in law and now my family And Eric is your husband, I know he looks harsh and mean but trust me he's a Teddy bear inside easy to cuddle"

"Mom please stop and just do what you are supposed to do, and Victoria you don't keep me waiting, and if I am to advise you, you'd better end whatever relationship you have with that man cause I do not approve of him" Eric said coldly to his mom then to Victoria.

He had been expecting her since the board meeting was adjourned, if not for anything he just wanted to see her, when she didn't come it irritated him so he took his anger out on every one, he asked to know where she was and he was told that she was with a guy named Tony for close to an hour, what happened to Eric after that wasn't explainable even to him the anger, the rage, the images that came to his mind. Of course he told himself he wasn't jealous only fools that believed in love got jealous he was angry that she was a flirt and a cheat who had no shame and he was going to marry her.

He asked for a background check on Tony and discovered that the two have known each other for ten years now, this made him even more upset, he was going through everything about Tony when his mother in all her glory barged into his office. Annoying him the more.

"Eric son, you don't need to be like that to her, show some respect she's your wife!"

"More reasons why she should do as I say"

"I am right here, and I can hear you both, Eric you can't tell me to end my friendship with Tony he's my best friend and in the contract it doesn't state that you have the right to end my friendship with my best friends" Victoria said.

"Please mom can you guys get going? I am working here"

"C'mon Victoria let's leave this old grump alone"

Victoria nodded and left the office with Eric's mother.

The ride to the boutique wasn't anything but fun, Eric's mother was those mother's you call cool, she was fun to be with in just few minutes’ drive Victoria was already found of her, they were alike in many ways the fairy tale kind of people, Eric's mom Susan told Victoria how she had met Eric's father and how everything was magical until he had a tragic accident four years ago that put him in coma.

When Mrs Susan got to that part she couldn't help but shed a tear it was still painful, she immediately brightened up as she noticed even Victoria was at the bridge of tears.

"Volla we have arrived, the best designer that has ever lived on the surface of the earth!" Mrs Susan exclaimed dramatically causing Victoria to laugh out loud.

"C'mon Victoria let's go see your magical wedding dress, you ready?"
