I sat in silence for a while after listening to all Sarah had to say.

My days of lying and hiding the truth had to come to an end. I already began to suffocate with guilt. I felt like a bad friend because of all I had done to Sarah.

I was feeling ungrateful for having such a great and caring friend like Sarah.

She still came through for me even after I had ignored all her calls and emails.

“Your silence says it all. Something is wrong,” she spoke, snapping me away from my world of thoughts.
