I stood frozen with the phone on my ear, my fingers trembled uncontrollably, and so did my lips- my lashes batted severally as I tried to digest what Micheal just said

What got me shocked wasn't the fact that Micheal said he used to chase me back in college, it was the fact that he suddenly remembered

"You do remember don't you?" He asked but I couldn't respond. "Well, I'll leave you to do a little recovery from the shock then, just know- it's now your turn to return your gratitude to me"

My brows creased. "Gratitude for what?" I asked

"What do you mean? You do remember...
