My meeting with the board members ended well, they were warm and inviting. They all joked about almost everything, and I was left to wonder if they were board members.

The board members in my father's company back then were as serious as my father- you could barely see a smile on their faces. One managed to smile at me when she heard of my engagement with Micheal. Even compliments do nothing to put a slight curve on their lips. Weird people right? I know. All they have in their heads is business, business, business.
