I was feeling extremely bored at home, Sarah and my parents had gone out to get a few things done.

More like enjoying New York’s environment before they return to California.

My parents always wanted to go back to this restaurant they ate at once since they came to New York so they probably went there.

They also wanted to see the large mall I didn’t even know where exactly they were headed. Maybe they just wanted to see the entire New York in just a day.

Sarah on the other had begged that I accompany them but I insisted I stay at home and complete the PowerPoint...
