I stood outside the door waiting for Nathan to be done talking with my father. I wonder what they were talking about. And I kept hearing kinds of stuff about California, what's happening in California?

"Why are you standing there like that?" I heard Katerina's voice and I stood straight immediately

"My father is speaking with Nathan, I just want to wait outside until they're done" I replied and she nodded, standing beside me
