"You sure you don't want to go to the hospital for an extra check-up?" I asked- she squinted her eyes hopelessly at me and shook her head. We were standing at the door, with me all dressed for the office and she still in her pajamas

"Alright, see you when I'm back then," I waved, and she waved back. "I love you"

"Love you more. Be careful" She kissed my lips while I nodded- she waved one last time before I went to the car and drove out of the house.

I dialed her father's phone while on the way, and he picked up after a few rings....
