I stared at the blank white hospital walls as my mind wandered to my encounter with Nathan earlier. I was surprised at how he rushed away when I tried to wave at him

Even the nurse was surprised at his actions too. Did I do something wrong? Oh... Right! Maybe I was too fast. That's right, if I want to approach someone, I need to take baby steps

But still, waving at someone who seemed to have been staring at me for a long time didn't seem like a bad idea. I felt embarrassed when he ran off.
