Elsie was led into the grand chamber, her heart pounding in her chest. The panel of elders sat before her, their faces stern and unforgiving.

"Elsie, you have been brought before us today to answer for your crimes," one of the elders declared. "Your sister, Mia, has testified against you, revealing your treachery and betrayal of our family's trust."

Elsie's eyes flashed with determination. "That's not true!" she protested. "Mia is lying, she's manipulating you all!"
