What really was going on? He woke up from a long dream that had seemed to be an eternity. He spent all that time with something he thought was Elsie but wasn't, after he confronted it, its face broke down and started melting alongside his home and everything else around it.

Madriod's body began to slowly sink as his surroundings turned to black puddles of thick sticky substance. He tried desperately to free himself, but there was nothing for him to hang on to. He was trapped and slowly being dragged into the ground. Wanting to panic in this situation wouldn't have been the oddest of things, but...
