Elsie's POV

The sun was setting, and Madriod hasn't returned yet. Elsie felt anxious and paced back and forth like a mother waiting for her child to come home from school. Suddenly, she bumped into a sturdy body and looked up to see Madriod's face, which made her feel relieved.

With their sudden closeness, Elsie looked at him, taking in his minty scent. They locked eyes for a moment, and she felt her cheeks flush before breaking the intimate moment.

"Uhmm, eh-hmm," she cleared her throat and asked, "You're back! How did the hunt go?"

"We couldn't find a single werewolf, but we believe we'll catch them soon," he replied....
