As she ran, she stumbled upon a stool and crashed to the wooden floor.
“ No…” She screamed and leapt away from the fury of a swiping sword. Only at that point did she have epiphanies of her subconsciously fortified instincts.
“ You move so fast for the offspring of a man who was slow to bring happiness to the lives of his people.” “ The government would pay a fortune for your head.” Purred the giant fellow who wore a camouflaged trouser and a black shirt. His jungle boots scarred the wooden floor as he ambled towards her.
Confused and cornered, Amelia tried to dive out of the door but the bogus arms of her attacker was spread out to block her route.
“ Please …Who are you…?” She cried out for dialogue while she panted in fright.
“ Find out in hell.” He silvered, raising his steel sword upwards.
Threatened by his words, she caught sight of a narrow route between his fingers and the wall and wasted no time to go for it.
“ Get back!” He fumed and chased after her. Yet again, the darkness in the room had caused her to lose her footing and crashed onto the wall, hurting the very spot from the oak tree.
“ Maximin!!!” She cried out as she crawled across the floor in search of respite. She could here the majestic footsteps of the attacker as he dawned on her.
“ Your father was a thief. He took away my joy when he embezzled the funds meant to power the homes of all civil servants.” Purred the man in a baritone tenor.
“ My father was a good man.” She cried, still crawling away.
“ I was in Afghanistan on a peace-keeping mission when I heard the Predicament of my wife and daughter because they could no longer afford to pay for power. Only your death can give me the satisfaction I yearn for.” He added in a solemn tenor.
“ I’m sorry about your family.” She slurred, in bid to curtail his anger while she tried to evade his proximity.
“ Tell that to your father in hell.” He averred and raised his sword into the air.
“ Please Don’t. I’ll compensate you. I’m an heir to a million dollar fortune.” She pleaded in a last effort to salvage her life as she staggered up.
“ Typical!” He mumbled and spat against Amelia. “ A chip of the old block .” He added and began to bring down his sword towards her head. Instinctively, she kicked against his crotch, destabilizing him for some seconds before she scampered to her feet and made the run for it.
“ Get back here!” He snarled and leapt at her, catching the edge of her cotton gown. Desperate for an escape, she dashed further, causing her gown to rip off from the waistline. Amelia felt the cold air caressing her bare-back and the portions of her rear that was wasn’t covered by her peach panties. She was bent on getting far away from him as much as possible while he chased after her.
[ Somewhere in The woods]
The smell of blood had found it’s ways to the nostrils of Maximin. He was dazed and didn’t know where he was. Only the rustling sounds of footsteps made sense to him. His sight was without vision and his skin was without feel. It was the persistent smell of blood in his nostrils that struck a mark on his consciousness.
“ Amelia.” He gasped and flicked his eyes open to meet the darkness of night.
“ Oh no! The beast is awake!” Yelled a fat fellow with a bent spine who had big organs on his small head. Dressed in Faded jean trousers and worn out singlet, he lifted his double barrel rifle and took an aim at Maximin.
“Amelia.” Maximin gasped, paying more attention to the information in his nostril than the noises around him. Undoubtedly, he knew whose blood it was and from the Carbon in it, he knew she was in danger.
“ Stay down!” The fat Man roared pointing the gun as if to pull the trigger.
Only when Maxmin had tried to sprout did he realize the convolution of steel- chains that had been fastened over his back while a stallion pulled the cart upon which he was fastened.
“ Don’t shoot him. Boss wants him alive.” Cautioned the coarse voice of a tall lady in black leather attire. Her masculinity was that of a male wrestler.
“ Damn it Seraphim! We should kill the beast now. He’s too strong.” Yelled the Fat Fellow. His frightened Yells only caused Maxmin to garner more cardinalities about his current niche and growled at the constricting pain of the object.
“ He’s going to kill us all. Shoot him now!” Shouted another Fellow who constricted the chain against Maximin.
“ Don’t shoot him.” “He can’t break those chains.” Seraphim Cautioned as she gazed at the raging boisterousness of the captive.
He roared with so much ferocity and flexed his muscles so sturdily that it sent the constricted chains, mincing through the wooden cart like a chainsaw and Dissecting it with a loud snap that threw many off balance.
Maximin sprang to his feet as the chains felt loosened over his body. There was rage in his eyes and it was stalked not only to the armed men that stood gazing at him. He sniffed vehemently and dashed out.
“ Fire!” Seraphim conceded, causing an outcry of bullets to chase after him while he leapt into the dark woods
