I woke up to warmth around me.

Jaxon’s arms were wrapped securely around me, his face buried in my hair. His breathing was deep and steady and his body was relaxed against mine. I smiled as I enjoyed the comfort of his body. I had never seen him this unguarded.

He stirred slightly, pressing his face further into the crook of my neck. “Morning, my love,” he murmured against my skin.
