Vincent was dumbfounded, his eyebrows narrowed. “What do you mean?”

“He already has a woman in his life,” I said and frowned. “What should I do?” I looked at Vincent and waited for his reply.

“It’s okay, don’t worry. If you’re meant for each other, fate will bind you together,” he said. “But honey, how about your promise to your childhood sweetheart?”

I stiffened. “Yes, I forgot about Alex.” I was suddenly confused.

“Yes, besty, where is Alex now?” Vincent asked.
