“Are you not going to have lunch? Didn’t I tell you to take a half-day and go home? Are you not going to listen for what I’ve told you to do, is this how you are stubborn?” 

I looked up and was startled to see Adrian in front of my desk. I stood up and greeted him. “I was about to have a lunch after these—”

“Is that really important for you?” he cut off and glared at me.

“Yes sir—I mean, no sir—” I shook my head and heaved a sigh. I am baffled by what I am going to say to him.
