"Can I have the keys?"
I almost tripped and almost blew out the milktea I was drinking because of his sudden request for a kiss!
I looked at him nervously. "A-What kiss ?! N-No! You're taking advantage of me already!" I retorted and distanced myself at him a bit.
His brows furrowed. "Keys. Car keys, not kisses. Stupid," he clarified.
Stupid?! Me? Heh!
"Make it clear! So not me, ah!" I defended and held the milktea to it. "Hold this first. I'll get inside my bag," I said and he accepted it without complaint and held it.
When I got out of my bag I was about to hand over the car key so I was stunned and pissed when I saw him drinking my milk tea!
"H-Huy, G-Goodness! Why are you sipping on my milktea, huh ?!" my eyes widened at my question.
He bit the straw and looked at me innocently. "Iʼm thirsty, young lady." he reasoned out and sipped again!
I let out an amused sigh. "N-It's not for you, eh."
He gives back the milk tea. "Saʼyo na,"
I winced. "What? No way. Thanks." I answered and averted my eyes.
He smirked audibly. "It's up to you," he insisted.
"No ---"
"It's up to you ... me."
Quickly for a second I looked back at him with menacing eyes. "W-What?" I will ask.
He was suddenly serious. "It's late. Let's go home." he said and took the key in my hand before walking closer to our car.
I still can't keep quiet or regain my senses just because of his simple words.
So not me!
"Young lady," he called.
"O-Okay! Wait!"
I shoved the thought away and just followed him. He even opened the door for me so I can sit now. Followed after, he turned in the driver's seat and quickly started the car's engine and drove away from UP.
The dismissal of our class was a bit late due to the scary projects, presentations and presentations for UPLB's Fashion Week. So, that’s exhausting!
Add to that that I'm not really that good at Management, e.g. I was just obliged to take this course. For my parents. For the future business.
Seriously speaking? I'm not really into business matters. In my case now, I’m just surviving in the path of what my parentsʼ chose for me. Not enjoying it.
We were halfway through the trip, Gon spoke. I just let him. I didn't even look at him or look directly at him. In my peripheral vision only. Quite a few of me and I donʼt know why!
"Can I make a request, young lady?" he asked seriously.
"W-What?" I answered and stuttered.
"Can you not force me to talk or pay attention to your friend? Don't pimp me." he said coldly yet seriousness was felt.
I was muted because of what he requested.
Earlier at lunch, Andi and I met and talked at Org Tambayan of UP. I was nervous and couldn't speak at first because he might get mad at me. Because my bodyguard is his ultimate crush!
But in the end, out of sheer nervousness, I just said that Gon was our new blockmate. I introduced him to a blockmate and not a bodyguard because he might get angry or he might not be jealous so we can fight. Add to that, we are in the same house together!
Andi just nodded earlier and was still smiling because finally she said she would have more desire to study and I would always come to our building to see Gon.
I don't know if he is also wondering why Gon studied at UP but the important thing is, he will be happy because there are many chances that he will see Gon.
I love my bestfriend and I donʼt want to see her hurt nor sad in any way.
Then this is Gon, I also told him when I came back to CEM that when Andi asked him why I was always with him, he should answer that we are blockmates and for Andi! For them to be close to the latter, they will also be together!
He didn't answer before. Just feel cold!
Then now he will request not to force him on Andi.
I bit my lip. "K-Kasi, Gon ... why don't you want to be friends with Andi? She's nice. Pretty. Intelligent and fun to be with," I said calmly.
He heaved a sigh. "I told you, I don't want to. He won't benefit from me. Don't insist." he said.
I decided to stare at him while driving. "Just hang out, ah. When we're together, talk to her like the way you talk to me. Or ever better! Then, try to be close to her at least. You won't lose anything, ah." I still try.
I really want them to be close because ever since, when we go to a bar and he's so drunk? Andi is crying because she doesn't have a chance to get close to Gon!
Seeing her like that makes me hurt. So now that they have a chance to get closer, I'm going to grab it!
He glanced at me, having angry bird brows. "It's up to you." His answer was useless.
I pouted. "Why don't you, huh?" I asked more.
"I don't want relationships."
Oh?
I don’t know what to think because of the words he uttered. There was something in my chest that made me happy for Andi. Because ... maybe he doesn't want to be super attached to Andi, that's because he's bound to fall in love with her ?!
Goodness!
I just smiled at the thought. This is so not me, goodness!
I didn't just ask him why he didn't want the relationship because I was happy and celebrating at the thought that maybe he really didn't want to be attached to my friend because he was fragile.
A few minutes later we reached home. Mang Jones immediately opened the gate for Gon so that Gon could enter the car in the garage.
When the car was parked properly, I got out. He didn't wait for me to come down and open it because I had a hand.
I accelerated my walk into the house because I could feel Gon following behind me.
I was about to step up when he spoke. "Alli," he called.
I faced him with amusement in my eyes. "Did I just hear you call me ... Alli? Alli and not a young lady?" I asked.
He looked at me, nonsense. "That's your name too, so ... yes. Don't you?" he asked.
I shook quickly. "No --- I mean, that's also what I should have said earlier. Don't call me young lady because Andi might be surprised. Okay?" I explained.
He nodded lightly. "If that's what you want. Okay," he agreed.
I moved closer to him and looked up slightly because he was taller than me. "Thank you." smiling, I replied.
He just looked at me deeply.
Confused, "Why?" I asked.
He snarled. "Tsk. Earlier in the recitation, youʼre suck, dʼyou know that?" he recapped, upfront.
I stepped away from it and averted my gaze. "W-What do you mean?" my voice was weak when I asked that.
"You're suck at accountancy, Alli. In accounting," he repeated.
I bowed my head a bit. "I know," I answered problematically.
I really shouldn't be on that line e. I'm not really fond of digits! Memorizations and balancing!
... but I need to obey my parents. I'll be the future head of all their business so I need to do what they want me to do.
I'd rather paint than count!
I raised my head again when I heard the words I don't know if I will admire or what because ... he just entered UP!
"Tsk. Go upstairs. I'll teach you everything related to Accounting."
