I stood by the door, waiting for Xavier's car to pull up. I had seen his car from the window and heard the honk, so I rushed down. As soon as I saw him step out of the car, I smiled and hurried over to him. Then, I quickly took his briefcase and jacket, greeting him with a warm "Welcome home."
