I stood up, trying to compose myself, and Lily quickly looked away, her face flushed with embarrassment.

"It's okay, accidents happen," I said, trying to reassure her.

But Lily still looked mortified. "I'll get you a new shirt, sir. And I'll clean up this mess."

I nodded, still trying to process what had just happened. "It's okay, Lily. Just...just be more careful next time."

She nodded, with her gaze down, and quickly exited the room, leaving me to wonder what had just occurred. Then, she came back and cleaned up the mess. When she was done, she scurried out.
