I spent about a year in Colorado, USA, before going back to Florida to live with my parents. I've always lived alone, and I'm 30 years old. Currently, I'm in the living room and concentrating on my laptop. How do you maintain control over a domineering man? My hand was still on the keyboard as I stopped to think about what I had written.
I am a part-time writer for "Frap," a feminist publication that promotes gender equality, independence, and other progressive causes.
Like myself, many of my supporters are independent, successful women. The journal made it easier for women like me to demonstrate that they could also rule the world.
The writing prompt for this month is "fidelity" and the power of men.
I was motivated to contribute to the magazine's August issue. In my article, I'll talk about soap opera characters, particularly Jim Vladimir Smith, who serves as both my hero and my antagonist.
When I was just beginning to write a section for a magazine that I would handle because that's where I belong, I first learned about this man.
But I jumped at the chance when my editor-in-chief mentioned that she was looking for a writer for a section called "Woman on Top."
The goal is to discuss femininity and masculinity. So I was overjoyed when I was offered the job, and my editor agreed to let me do it for a month. So, that night, I began writing and patiently considered an issue that could be discussed when my gaze was drawn to a photo of a man in the news section of the internet. I'd seen the man get covered by a magazine. He was at a gathering with a woman, and the man's mouth was close to the woman's ear, as if he was whispering, while the man's hand was holding the woman's waist.
I sniffed as I looked at the two people in the photo because they were not meant to be together. The man was attractive, as was the woman he was with, who was also stunning.
I'd read in a magazine that this man was one of the country's most famous playboys and owned several high-end real estate houses across the country. Another thing I discovered was that he was the CEO of his own company.
"Of course!" I exclaim loudly.
This man is marked with a star on my to-do list. In one month, I will track down Jim Vladimir Smith's whereabouts.
I'm going to find out everything I can about this man's activities. I'd see how many women Vladimir could change in a month. I endured being treated like a paparazzi for a month to ensure that I didn't make a mistake. It wasn't just three women; there were five more! So I decided to sleep first before writing my column, "Women, how will you know if your man is a wolf?" I planned to finish writing tomorrow. I prayed for a few moments before turning off the lampshade and climbing into bed.
The other day,
I got up early to prepare breakfast. I was in the dining room right now, drinking coffee and reading the tabloid news. And what I read about Jim Vladimir Smith makes me raise an eyebrow. According to what is written in the tabloid,
"A face struck a pose at a charity event for the Give Care Foundation, which was held at the Montage Palmetto Bluff, one of the most luxurious hotels in the United States." Anastacia Clarete, a famous model, held hands with Jim Vladimir Smith, the famous playboy CEO, who was dressed in a beautiful gown. Is she the month's newest flavor? Let's see how long this model will last with our playboy bachelor."
Because of what I had read, I shivered as I set the tabloid on the table. The man was dating a socialite before, but he's now dating a model. It's equivalent to switching women and attire. I got to my feet and picked up a plate and a spoon to start eating. And today I'm going to the publishing house to deliver what I wrote last night to my editor-in-chief. On the highway an hour later, I was heading in the direction of the business. And my editor liked the column she wrote, so I wasn't mistaken.
"Congratulations, Miss Davis. I know this column you wrote will be well-liked by the general public." My editor told me,
I appreciate it, Miss.
She left shortly after they talked to her editor. She was happy because she liked what she did. There was a basis for how women would know that men were not serious with them and diagnose them as playboys.
One month later,
"Good morning, Sir! Here’s the list of last month’s events!" I greeted my boss with an ear-splitting smile, then I placed the folder on his desk. My boss just walked into the office. I was wearing a beautiful blouse and a knee-length pencil skirt that made him stare at me.
It has been paying attention to me for a long time, but I won't let it go.
"Good Morning, Deb! You are so beautiful right now, "he greeted me in return as if making a cute facial expression. I reciprocated with a smile that was serious and unmixed with malice. My boss has a thing for me, but I didn't like him flirting because he has a wife and children.
"Thanks, Sir!"
And I noticed he took something under the table and laid the two glasses in front of me.
“Let's have coffee first, Deb,” He said.
My co-workers were looking at us because our office was adjacent and the wall was fiberglass, so it was obvious from the outside. I almost rolled my eyes in front of my boss.
"Thank you, sir. I'm done having coffee.
" That was all I said, and went straight into my office.
And I was immediately greeted by my secretary, Phoebe, with a lot of paperwork.
"Ma'am, these are your priority events for next month."
"Thanks, Phoebe. Is everything we need for these events okay?" I asked her.
My headache must be overflowing again because of my loaded work.
“Yes, Ma’am, you can look at the drafts. I also gave a copy to Ma’am Michelle.”
What my secretary was referring to was my assistant organizer.
“Okay, I'll review it all. I'll just call you when I need something."
Phoebe nodded, then turned away.
Aside from being a writer, I'm also the head organizer at MP Events Incorporated. I design events hosted by our company, so I double my work. I opened the requests one by one. There are weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, debuts, and whatnot. It includes motifs and desired decorations for those who request them. Our clients are rich, so I need to be meticulous.
