Chapter 2 Two

Chapter 2 Two

Deborah was already sitting in her swivel chair, and she looked at the folder that requested to decorate. And she knew the person who requested it had a taste. There are pictures stuck in the drafts that it wants to decorate in the church as well as at the reception.

Light blue is the chosen motif of the bride. The reception will be held at the bride’s home in Boston, Massachusetts: Beacon Hill, the most prestigious community in America. She was surprised by the name of the bride, "Scarlett Avery Smith and Charles Johnson Nuptial." Deborah's eyebrows were raised; the news was true that the sister of a playboy would also marry another playboy.

And she thought maybe arranged marriages are happening because other rich people will turn their children into investments and businesses. Fortunately, she did not become rich. Deborah stood up to go to the restaurant because her friend Madison texted that they would meet.

Vladimir was thankful that his friend Charles thought that they would only meet at his coffee shop known as, Dessert Oasis Detroit Coffee and Eats. Because he can no longer be stuck in traffic since his coffee shop is only five minutes away from his office. He was sure it had something important to say about his marriage to his sister.

When I got out of the car, I went straight into the coffee shop without looking at what I was going through.

I just stopped stepping inside when the hot water spilled on my stomach, and I was sure it was coffee. I felt the heat even though I was wearing thick office clothes.

“What the fuck?" I couldn't help but sneer because of the heat he felt because he knew his stomach was burned.

"Ouch, are you blind?" I heard the woman say. I winced because I knew the woman's hand was also burnt.

When I saw her, I felt surprised. Why didn't I look where I was going? I looked at the woman again.

"That's what usually happens when we don't know how to look where we're going." The woman said calmly.

Vladimir stared at the woman's face and seemed to remember something in her eyes. Vladimir closed his eyes. He seemed to be deluding himself. It was as if he was looking into the eyes of someone who had ruined his youth. He looked at the woman intently. Its wavy hair is short. The face is small and heart-shaped, and the skin is smooth. But this is not the type of woman he wants because she is too innocent and knows nothing to do to make a man happy. And she was sure it wasn’t the woman from her past. He took a deep breath.

“I'm sorry, Miss. I'm in a hurry, so I didn't see you. Maybe I deserve to have this burn."

At the same time, I pointed at my burnt stomach. The woman did not speak, but she was smirking at me. What's so funny? Vladimir just told himself.

“Oh my! What a nice day, Goodbye coffee, Hello, burns. And you can already leave in front of me since your stomach is bulging in.

" I told him.

And then he suddenly smiled and the dimples on both cheeks appeared seemed her undies want to fall on the floor. She can’t blame every woman linked to this man.

“I'm sorry, Miss. I'll just buy you another cup of coffee." He told me,

"No, Thank you, I can’t let myself burns the second time around."

I was irritated that I had to respond to him. And the man laughed loudly. I frowned at what he had done. Is there anything funny about what I said?

“You are really cute; just wait for your coffee. I'm sorry again. I have to go to the office of this coffee shop." He says to me and walks away in front of me.

When Vladimir left, I suddenly looked at my face in the mirror in front of me because he said I was cute.

“You're just cute, but you're not pretty!” part of my mind says. I winced as I walked towards Madison over to the table.

“Did you know that the women who saw your encounter with Jim Vladimir Smith earlier all rolled their eyes? And then I also saw his friend Charles Johnson at the counter earlier, Super hunk! He’s handsome too!” Madison screamed.

“Stop fantasizing about Charles because you have no hope because he is getting married. Didn't you read the news? "I asked her.

"Not since we don't have the same job." She answered me.

She is a doctor, so she doesn't know anything about the rich people who are listed in the tabloids, which is to say, she doesn't care. I used a tissue to wipe the burnt on my hand.

"Let’s go, Madison, we should find another coffee shop.

" She said to me, with an annoyed expression.

“What? We’re already here, Deb, Why do we have to find another coffee shop?” she asked me.

“Just don’t ask,” I said. Then I dragged Madison.

"Wait a minute, Deb, if you can pull me over. It’s like I’m a horse.” It’s like the coffee is our order.” Madison sniffed at the waiter approaching our table.

"I didn't order coffee, Madison," I told her.

"This is for you, Ma'am, Sir Vladimir is giving it to you.

" So said the waiter.

“And what he said was that I’m going to give you first aid to the burn in your hand.”

"No, my friend is a doctor, so she will be the one to give treatment to my burns."

" My answer "Is that so?" the waiter asked me. I nodded and then pulled Madison away.

"Thanks for the coffee," Madison said, simultaneously releasing my hold on her hand to carry the coffee. “Did I tell you to bring that?

I asked her. “If you don't want to, I want to take this.” She answered me.

Charles looked at me in surprise as I entered his office. I immediately called my secretary to send me a dress.

"What happened to you, man?" it asked me, raising an eyebrow as it watched me enter the bathroom. “Because of your immediate call, I bumped into that woman. Damn!" I answered him as I slumped down on the swivel chair in front of Charles.

He shook his head. "How is she? Did she sustain any burns?" He asked me.

"I already gave her first aid from your staff." My answer.
