Erix disappeared in the next few days. He told me something happened in his pack that needed his attention. And since Matthew gave me a break from working nonstop, I decided to crash at Zander's house. 

Killian hasn't come since Isabelle's labor, and I feel lonely. 

Kaila took the empty plate before me and carried it to the sink. She had been cleaning all morning, and she was not about to stop now. I felt she would have taken my plate whether I was done.
