Mrs. Doris was quiet for a long moment. Then she smiled. 

"Let me ask you something, have you been having enough sleep?”

Damon blinked, taken aback by the question. “Well… not really.”

“So it’s safe to say you haven’t been sleeping well?”

Damon frowned, he wasn’t sure where this conversation was headed but he answered regardless. “Yes.” 

Mrs. Doris smiled warmly. “I believe your wolf is having hallucinations, Mr. Creed. It is quite common when you don’t sleep or eat well, it can cause these hallucinations.”

Damon didn’t agree with her but he didn’t want to drag the conversation either so he nodded.
