Talia wasn’t sure what was happening to her anymore. 

She had been feeling weird since morning, and even now while Derek was talking as they walked back to the dormitory, she could feel goosebumps spread down her back.

Her eyes kept darting to Derek’s mouth as he spoke, for some reason, she found them enticing.

“It’s really crazy right now in the academy,” Derek suddenly said and she snapped out of her thoughts.

“W-What?” She stammered, blinking. 

Derek stared at her like she was strange then he chuckled. “You don’t know what’s happening, do you?”
