I woke up in soft sheets, the morning light trickled in through the blinds. Shedding myself of the remaining glimpses of a nightmare, my eyes were still shut as I soaked in the warmth of my covers before letting my brown eyes see the sun's rays.
I felt the intense pain in my body as if I had been beaten all day. My head is aching and part of my face feels numb. I shook my head, trying to look around. All I can see was the white ceiling, white walls and some appliances.
