As soon as Lyra arrives, the teenagers stop shoving each other and talking over Xavier, and he scowls a little.

He nods to Lyra in greeting and then returns to trying to address his pack.

"As I was saying, I congratulate all of you on the ranks you received. You all worked extremely hard, even amidst internal pack conflict," he states, clearing his throat as he tries to figure out what else to say.

He gives up on trying to think of anything else after a minute, glumly dismissing them as he turns to the two other Alphas beside him.
