Carlos appeared a bit shocked when the words ‘vampire daddy’ left my lips. Then slowly, his expressions melted into that devastatingly charming smile, the one that had the power to topple kingdoms.

“Vampire daddy?”

He repeated, voice dropping lower, teasing. His crimson eyes glowed faintly as he reached for my hand and drew me closer.
