As Carlos stood up for me in the critical situation, my work life became peaceful. My boss didn’t fire me despite Xander’s complaint. Moreover, Jenna offered me to share her apartment with her, solving my residence issue.

“We can split the bills and rent, Harley. It’s difficult for me to pay all the expenses alone.”

So, Jenna became my savior in the human city, letting me start fresh. I was truly grateful to her for her help. After Ella’s betrayal, I thought I couldn’t trust anyone, but Jenna had secured a special place in my heart. We hit it off shortly after living together.
