Henry laughed, but it wasn’t loud, maniacal, or insane. Instead, it sounded soft and indulgent, like I’d just asked the most ridiculous question in the world.
“So all the evil in the world is my problem now?” he said lazily, tilting his head. “You humans have such a charming way of simplifying things.”
My stomach twisted awkwardly as he glanced at me, eyes glinting.
