“You don’t have to get dressed. We can stay in bed all day tomorrow,” he says softly.
He notices her flinch slightly and realizes that she’s worried that he might want more than one day in bed together with her. He smiles sadly.
“It’s fine, Helena. You don’t have to pretend like everything is okay between us when I know that it isn’t,” he murmurs softly.
“And I don’t want to force anything on you. Not tonight anyway. Tonight all we will ever do is sleep, enjoy each other’s company and try to forget about our worries.”
