Helena smiles softly and reaches up to cup his cheeks.

“I know,” she murmurs softly.

“And you always will.” Her thumbs brush along his cheeks gently, stroking away the traces of tears that he didn’t even realize were falling from his eyes.

He rests his forehead against hers as she rubs her thumb tenderly against his cheek.

After a moment, she leans forward to place a kiss on his lips, quickly wrapping her arms around his neck. He gladly returns her affection, pressing his lips against hers firmly.
