As soon as Michael and Jane were done with their discussion, a call came in for Michael, he answered the call in a coded manner as if not wanting Jane to understand what he was saying. Afterwards, he told Jane that he will be out with someone for a while and dashed out of the house immediately.

Jane peeped through the window and saw Michael entered into a black painted car, that looks exactly the same with the car that she saw the night she was trailed in her apartment.

Jane was surprised, she couldn't believe her eyes. She stared at the car till it zoomed off.
