Jane was drunk due to the issues of life she was battling with which was majorly loneliness. Michael stopped her from drinking and helped her but instead of taking Jane to her own house, he took her to his own house because Jane said she doesn't have a home.

Jane being a very pretty lady faced alot of harassment, sexual assault, insults etc from men who had lust in her beauty. She also lost the love of her sisters, friends and people around her because she was seen to snatch all their good fortunes from them due to her beauty. She herself began to see her beauty as curse rather than blessing.

That night, Jane put up at Michael's house and he took her home the following day. They met again on a certain day which brought feelings of love towards each other. Michael felt inferior because he wasn't rich and couldn't express his love for Jane.

When Jane returned home, one of her sisters Angela whom Michael met in a boutique while buying clothes for Jane came Visiting Michael. Michael's nice gesture towards her made her feel Michael was in love with her. when she found out that Michael and Jane were dating,she tried to break them up emphasing on a certain past incidence which she termed was Jane's fault. This made Jane step aside and walked out of her Love.

Along the line, Jane's best friend Richard returned from the US. He was Jane's best friend and a very strong admirer, the only person who understood Jane and lent her a shoulder to cry on when Jane was passing a rough time. it's true that Jane loved him more than anything and anyone before but things were different now.

Jane became confused on whom to choose.
