“It’s a total of two hundred and twenty-five dollars, ma’am,” the saleslady at the mall said with a warm smile. I flashed her a smile before dipping my hand into my pocket.
I dragged out three hundred dollars and quickly handed it over to her. She then gave me my chocolate molds. My face lit up as I collected them and walked out of the mall. I needed something to chew on, and most of the time my mom says that if I’m having a bad day, some chocolate cakes or molds would ease it.
