Lesley thought deeply as she watched the fire dance in front of her as she hugged herself and sat on a wide rock. He savored the warmth of his skin as Dan continued to add dry tree branches to the bonfire they had gathered before sunset. Here they are in the forest caught in the dark after escaping Shane's men.

Lesley rubbed the scars on her arm from her earlier jump in the moving vehicle. He did not have any major wounds or broken bones but the scratches on his skin were still painful. He also had a small wound on his forehead.
