I'm in the house because I had to protect my aunt because she is afraid of what might happen if her aunt commits suicide after what happened. Her aunt's powerful aura has already faded. When I look her in the eyes, she looks away. As a result, she is depressed. I rescheduled my day to look for work. Maybe I'll do it another time. I'll never forget that topless man. He is always present in my dreams.
I purposefully dialed Harry's number. That man was a real jerk. If he isn't efficient enough at his job, I may fire him.
"Hello, Harry," I said, inviting him to the office.
"Yes, Sir," he said over the phone.
He entered by pushing the door open.
"How'd it go, Harry? Did you find her?"
"Not yet, sir," he say.
"How long until?" My time is almost up. Take note that I had a lot of appointments and paperwork this month. That's why I needed a secretary so badly. So, do you get it? ”
"Yes, Sir," Harry replied before exiting.
Finally, I decided to go out and walk around the city, thankful that, at long last, her Aunt Rebecca was okay. My Aunt became alive and began to recover. Our relationship is better. So, everything is back to normal. Aunt Rebecca was working at the shop. It is good. My aunt came home early and cooked for us. Her attitude has changed. She is now like a mother to me.
Someone bumps into me as I'm about to enter the coffee shop and says,
"What the hell is that?" I grumbled as I looked into that person's eyes and noticed him smiling.
"It's you! Thank God, I found you," he says, and I'm not sure what he means.
"Pardon?"
"Don't you remember me? I'm that guy from the company you went to a few weeks ago; Mr. CEO wants to see you," she is taken aback.
"Why? I didn't do anything wrong," I says.
"Of course, he wants to see you because he desperately needs a secretary, and you're not informing me that you're going home at that time. Please, Miss, I'll face the consequences if I don't convince you."
Okay, fine. I'll go tomorrow."
He wrapped his arms around me and said,
"Thank you, Miss, for rescuing me from the devil,"
"Stop it! They are looking at us; we are not closed."
"I'm sorry, I got carried away; I have to leave; see you on the office."
That man is unfathomable. Why is he referring to his boss as the devil? I'm terrified that I've returned to that place. I'm afraid I'll have to encounter him.
My phone rang, and the caller is my aunt.
"Why, Aunt Rebecca?" I ask.
"Rina, I worked overtime, I can't cook food for you," she said as she said in line.
"Tsk, Aunt Rebecca, you're worrying too much, I'm fine, I'll handle it," I said.
I went home and relaxed. For the past two years, this has been my home. When I'm alone, I always think about my parents. If they are happy right now, I will cry myself to sleep because I miss them so much.
I got up early and did some housework. I did the dishes and the laundry. I finished just in time to when my aunt arrived.
"What are you doing?" she inquired.
"I'll do some housework," she says.
"Just put that down; I'll finish it; come here; I want you to meet someone."
So I entered the living room and noticed a man sitting next to Aunt Rebecca.
"This is David, my friend," Aunt says, introducing the man in his forties to me.
Who exactly is this man? This is the first time Aunt Rebecca has brought someone after her husband has left her.
"Nice to meet you, Zcharina," he said.
"Hello, Sir, and it's a pleasure to meet you as well," he smiled.
""Stop calling me Sir, just call me Uncle David, okay?" he said.
“Okay,”
I got to my feet and went to the kitchen.
"Excuse me, I had to go to the kitchen. They are both nodding and smiling.
Then I dialed Aunt Rebecca's number.
"Aunt, what do you want to eat? Does your friend intend to eat our simple food?"
"Of course, are you sure? From the looks of that man, I know he's wealthy. I felt embarassed if he didn't want to ate what I prepared."
