Kathryn's phone rang, she motioned towards the dinning table where she had left the phone after eating that morning.

“Unknown number?” She muttered trying to be sure she saw right. She hasn't been called by unknown contacts before, she grew suspicious but on a second thought, she waved it off.

It ranged the second time, since she wasn't able to pick the first time. She picked and placed it on her ear, waiting for the caller to speak first.
