Kathryn turned as though she didn't hear him well, he has never called her beautiful since they were married and just now, he did. It sounded fascinating but triggered something in her, for a moment she felt like tearing up.

She fixed her gaze on him as though urging him to do what was on his mind, how badly she wanted to feel like a woman. She has only read them in stories.
