Aunt, what's going on?" I packed my way towards her direction, she gets off the phone, thus in a tense mood, shuts the door from behind.

"How much did you hear?" ( Enlarged her words to me)

"How about everything; what exactly are you hiding from the family?". ( I asked for the truth, and she goes donning a fake smile) "Elena, I can explain; but please don't tell anyone, most especially, your grandma".  Aunt says to me.

"Okay!! But tell me, what's going on?". ( I asked)

So she says, "dear!! I'm pregnant".

"Wait, what? For who? I don't understand?" ( I donned a startled glare on)

Aunt Stella swiftly switched to an even sadder look, " Elena, his name is, James hope, and he's my boss".

"Hmm!! Okay, I bet he's your boyfriend right".  ( I said and she goes, "Nah!! He's married but soon to be divorced, and he wants me to tell everyone at home about him and his intentions for us getting married".

( Fiddles to see my reaction).

"Elena; are you okay?" She snaps me back to my senses.

"Yes, I think but what then is the problem, if your boss is willing to accept you and the baby, why are you trying to keep this has a secret?". I mouthed to her.

"Hmm, the problem lies with my mom, your grandma, if by chance she finds out that I got pregnant outside the wall of marriage, my head will be on a silver platter, mom has always had a strong hate towards women that gets pregnant outside being married".

( Aunt revealed to me)

"Oh wow!! I never knew aunt, so what happens now?"

I asked, only to get called downstairs by mom.

"Your mom's calling you, we will talk later". Aunt walks me to the door and I left after giving her an assured smile.

"Yes mom" I walked downstairs and she tossed me an envelope, "what's this again,  dad's last wish?" I frown at the letter.

"Nope!! it came from Chad's parents, they want to finally welcome you to their family". Mom says hopping to get an enthusiastic expression from me but rather gets startled glare, "wait what; isn't It too soon, like we just got to know each other, today, and now they want to welcome me home, mom doesn't this sound a little suspicious?"

"Suspicious!!! No, my dear and yes, I know it's a little fast but we got no time to waste and since you and Chad like each other, I don't think it's time to plan, your engagement party, so you can finally get the last wish of your father to come true". ( Mom's eyes falls to the front door, as she excused herself and left me to my thoughts).

"Urgh!!! What's going on?" ( That's my head talking, retiring back to my room).

The following morning, I got dressed and went straight to the office, "good morning ma'am". The security guard smiled as I got into the building.

My feet ambled to my room, Miranda takes notice of me and rushed over, "hello my dear?" Her attitude got me suspicious.

"Goodmorning, what going on, tell me because you never dance so much whenever I'm coming to work".

She smiled at my comment and took charge of my bag, "let's go to your office, shall we?". ( Adds up as we both step in to see it was scattered with rose petals)

"What the hell!! Who did this?" ( I turned to her, but rather met a familiar face standing with a flower beside) "Chad!! What are you doing here?" I said, he takes a few steps closer, steering a charming smile, "I'm sorry but I couldn't help myself, Elena!! I think, I'm beginning to get attracted to you".

"Only attracted?" I asked

He smiles at my words and carefully tugged my hair behind my ears, "nope!! You can say, that I'm head over hills in love with you; if only you could give me a chance"
