Betty was momentarily stunned, "Are you hiding something from me?"

"I have some scars on my body, they're not very nice to look at, so I thought about covering them with a tattoo." I forced a smile, "You know, the Repentance Sanctuary is not a place where one can live peacefully."

"The Repentance Sanctuary?" Betty's brows furrowed tightly, "How could you possibly be sent to a Repentance Sanctuary? Weren't you staying at a sanatorium? Eric even said it was thanks to my uncle taking care of you."
