"How is she?" Robert held the cigarette but didn't light it. Sam shot him a warning look.

"No smoking allowed in the hospital," he reminded.

Passing over the reports, Sam confirmed, "As I suspected, nothing serious. Probably needs stitches."

Robert nodded, studying the reports carefully for a moment before passing them to Kevin. Eventually, he lit the cigarette.

Sam looked exasperated, as if he already anticipated this. The nurse knocked and entered, ready with the necessary items. "Doctor Sam, are you coming to treat the patient?"
