CHAPTER FIVE

R E Y N O L D S

Today's gonna be a long day.

First my designer messed up my suit and then Maria the help couldn't even make proper crossaints this morning.

I had to leave home on an empty stomach and I'm not one that jokes with my breakfast.

"What do you mean the model cancelled?!" Reina, my younger Sister's voice echoed through the car.

Another reason why I had a feeling today would suck? Reina decided to ride with me to the office instead of taking her own car and chauffeur.

"Ana is such a such a bitch! How dare she talk bad about me in that manner?!" She gasped.

I took out my airpods and place them in my ears while I took out my iPhone to choose the selection of songs I enjoyed to block out Reina's ungirly voice.

After doing so I picked up a magazine from the few stashed in the car to see read about the recent news.

I flipped through and stopped on a photo of Reina who was sitted next to me. Her long dark brown hair was what first caught my attention and then I closed the magazine with a deep sigh.

I see her at home and now I even see her in magazines too.

Wave. Wave.

My eyes darted to Reina who decided to get my attention by waving her hands in mid air for me to notice her.

"Reynolds! I've been talking to you for a while, don't tell me you didn't listen!" She complained.

" You were talking really loudly on the phone and you know how much your voice sounds manly and not like that of a girl." I teased and her green eyes narrowed in anger.

" Stop teasing me about my voice!" She fake cried while hitting me causing me to chuckle.

"Reina, you know you sound adorable! How can my baby sister sound like an ogre?" I replied apologetically.

" Rey, I'm gonna get you for this! Just wait, when you fall in love, I'm gonna tell her every embarrassing thing you've done till date." Reina threatened causing me to shake my head.

" Ray, if you're waiting on me to fall in love before getting revenge on me, then you might as well get comfortable cause that's never going to happen." I replied in a sure tone.

" You never know brother." She smiled showing off her perfect dentition and smile.

Like hell I'd fall in love! I'm perfect the way I am now.

I didn't even notice that we had gotten to my company until Tony my chauffeur announced it.

"Take her wherever she wants to go then return here so I don't have to have to wait for you if I have to go somewhere." I informed the driver before getting off.

"See you later Rey!" Reina waved with a huge smile on her face.

I told her not to act this way once we've crossed the company's gates. An office only works when the boss is very demanding and doesn't have a happy side.

"Good morning sir!" The lady at the reception greeted me.

I don't know my company's staff names because they are just too many and remembering them would be impossible.

"I want a hot Expresso, dark and strong. Bring it to my office in five minutes or the person's that supposed to make it can pick up his or her termination letter from the employment department." I ordered as I walked past the reception to my personal elevator.

"Right away sir!" I heard her yell behind me.

Rock, my bodyguard stood outside and watched the door close before he moved to the general elevator.

I glanced down at my wrist, two minutes had already passed which means that only three minutes were left before I get my espresso.

The doors of my elevator open when I reached the last floor of my company. Rock, my bodyguard walked behind me but he came in front to open the doors for me.

Rock stood outside after I walked passed my receptionist desk but I noticed dust on the table. I used my index finger to inspect but ended up getting dust on my finger.

"Rock! Dust!" I screamed into the air and Rock Immediately ran past my receptionist desk to my office where he got wipes which he handed over to me.

I cleaned my finger and threw the wipe into the dustbin when I noticed a figure holding a small teacup.

"Stand outside." I raised my hand and he immediately halted.

I walked into my office and took out my jacket.

"Rock!" I called again and he came running and took the jacket from me then put it on the coat rack.

"Tell him to come in." I told Rocky before he left the office.

A slender guy in a blue shirt appeared before me, his hands shaking in fear placed the Expresso on the table.

"Your coffee sir."

He turned to leave but I told him to stay put in his present spot.

I took a sip of the coffee and spat it back into the cup then dropped the cup loudly.

"What is this?" I questioned but he wouldn't stop shaking.

"I.its..c..o-"

"Answer me!" I thundered.

" It's coffee sir."

" This isn't coffee. First of all you're late, secondly, you brought me cold coffee and also when I arrived to my office and it was dusty." I listed the offenses.

" First who was on cleaning duty yesterday?"

" Sa-"

" I don't care, go to the employment division and tell them to issue his or her termination letter and then tell someone to clean up my assistant table."

" Sir, we recruited a new staff today. She's going to be your personal assistant." He announced.

" Then why isn't she here?"

"She's going around the company to get well acquainted with it."

"Tell her to see me Immediately."

" Stop." I ordered when he was leaving and he paused.

" Tell the department to issue a termination letter for who made this coffee and for yourself also for getting here two minutes past the required time and untop of that it was cold."

" Please si-"

" Didn't anyone tell you I hate people pleading? Quit begging and clear your desk Immediately."

" Sir pl-"

" Rocky!" I yelled.

Rocky walked the employee out of my office and I relaxed on my seat.

Bunch of incompetent fools.
