"What are you telling me, Maggie?" Dave asked curiously. "You mean Leila is in trouble?" he rose to his feet as if he was going to do something about it.

"Yeah," said Maggie, while lowering her head in regret. She was aware that Leila was in this mess because of her.

She lifted her head and caught him staring at the door. "I hope it's not what I'm thinking right now. Where are you going? To the old Mansion?"

He shook his head, "I'm thinking of going down there to see what I can do to help Leila."

"Such an effort is useless. I would rather say it's too late....
