Rudolf made an excuse. He was not lying to Hemena. His business this time dealing with the rogues was true. But obviously, he would not mention Alaris' name in front of Hemena.

"I saw him leaving with her former lover."

Both of Hemena's eyeballs glared angrily. In the three years she had been Rudolf's fiancée, she knew that not once had he dared to flirt, let alone go out with another woman.

"What did you say, Rudolf's former lover?"

Hemena's men nodded simultaneously. They had always been spies, so they often knew secret information. Not only about Alaris, but also her three missing children.

"They seem to be looking for the triplets," said one of the informants cautiously.

Hearing that, Hemena froze instantly. She could barely control herself. Children?! How could Rudolf have children with his former lover?
