This was currently the only time the hotel lobby had taken off some of the tension in the air since Genevieve had been openly embarrassed. While the body guards dragged the former superior away, Lily didn't budge from her spot. She was still weighed down by what the woman had said and her mind could not get over it.

"I can't believe she would actually go that length," she whispered.

Standing next to her, Lucas spoke offhandedly, "She underestimated you." Though his voice was calm while speaking, his eyes had that cutting edge to show that he, too, was upset at what had happened.
